Hydroxi on cars and light vehicles
Hydroxi can be fitted to diesel cars and light vehicles. In manufacturer-reported workshop tests on two older Euro 4 diesel cars, smoke readings with the Hydroxi unit fitted were within the Euro 5 limit used in the report, and one car’s readings were also below the report’s Euro 6 smoke figure. Opacity measures visible smoke only and does not change a car’s Euro class. To see whether it suits your vehicle, verify compatibility or pilot one vehicle first.

Manufacturer-reported smoke tests on cars. Workshop opacity tests on two Euro 4 diesel cars recorded average smoke readings of 0.16 and 0.37 m−1 with the Hydroxi unit fitted: smoke readings within the Euro 5 limit used in the report, one below its Euro 6 figure of 0.25.
